Trade Unions, Labour Activists and Windows

I often wonder how people who want a better sort of society can use Windows. You'd think that they would think about what they are using. You'd also think that they know that there are alternatives out there.

It's well known enough that trade unions and those who consider themselves to be "left-wing" are quite often the most conservative people you could meet. In fact, one should not be too surprised by the fact that it is an uphill battle to wean such people off windows in all its forms.

However, it is difficult to take such institutions and people in their views seriously if they support such massive corporations like Microsoft.
